TERMS & CONDITIONS, CONSENT FORMS ETC
REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• All signed Contracts must be returned with remittance (cash only) to either Nicola or Hazel by 31st January 2026.
• Any student not participating in ‘InMomentum’ must return the non-participation form by 31st January 2026.
(If a child is not participating, they will still be included in class. Knowledge of non-participation is necessary for the teacher involved to be aware of this).
• As mentioned in the covering letter:
Continual absence from class will not be tolerated as it hinders both choreography and costume fitting.
Any student with continual absence will be withdrawn from the production.
Therefore, please could we ask all parents & students to support us in this huge preparation and have 100% attendance in class unless extenuating circumstances prevent.
(100% attendance is necessary not only to finalise and polish dances but also for costume fittings)
• All students must be present at all required theatre rehearsals. Non-attendance at these rehearsals will result in immediate withdrawal from the production.
• There are many reasons why attendance is vital at theatre rehearsals including choreography, spacing, placing, and partnering of and within each dance number. However, above all a theatre is not a playground. During rehearsals students are given time on stage, in the wings etc with a working light. This enables them to see the stage, edges, wings, cables, lights, tabs, heavy weights (the list goes on) all of which are potentially dangerous. Students must also be present at any safety talks given by the theatre.
We feel it is vitally important that all students are given time to familiarise themselves with the environment so when they come to their performance and enter the stage in darkness, they are confident and thoroughly enjoy their moment on stage.
• All students must be able to participate on all allocated performance dates.
• Central School of Dance & Drama reserve the right to withdraw any student from the production.
