The Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition is the Royal Academy of Dance's flagship annual event.
āThe competition is one of the most prestigious ballet competitions in the world, attracting the finest young dancers trained in the RAD syllabus, from around the globe.
Centrals alumna student @lucie_ballet_xx was a semi finalist and it was our absolute pleasure and delight to watch her dancing in specially choreographed piece by āValentino Zucchetti.
This year's panel of judges includes: Dame Darcey Bussell, Aaron Watkin and Amanda Britton.

Shayla
SUPER STAR Absolutely blown away!! Oh my goodness, proud doesnāt even come close. We had the absolute pleasure to go and see Central student Shayla playing a lead role on the West End! We are truly delighted for her. Shayla went through a tough audition process to land the role of Jane Banks in Mary Poppins at the Prince Edward theatre. Last night we were blown away, playing such a huge part on a massive stage, singing solos, dancing, acting, honestly, we couldnāt have been more proud. She absolutely smashed it! Shayla is so deserving of this amazing role, having always worked so hard, being dedicated and driven to make her dream come true. Her talent absolutely shone on that stage.
Olivia
Massive congratulations . Central student Olivia has successfully auditioned and attained a place at the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park. We are so proud and delighted for her. Canāt wait to hear all about it. How fabulous does she look in her new tracksuit. CBA is designed to discover talented girls and boys aged between 8-16 years and provide them with a high level of pre-vocational classical training. The programme complements the student's individual training with their regular ballet school and gives them an opportunity to work with other talented children who share the same goals and ambitions to have a career in dance. Absolutely wonderful news xxxx

March Ballet Exams 2020
Students from Primary to Advanced 1 were able to take their ballet exams despite lock down. The Royal Academy of Dance agreed to accept recordings and with the help of All Media works who kindly lent equipment, free of charge, we were able to film the exams, just in time. We had to wait until July for the results however we are so proud and delighted for our students who all achieved outstanding marks, in difficult times. CONGRATULATIONS t
